    Colour Run

During Term 4, all the children took to the school field to celebrate Holi, the festival of colours, with a fantastic colour run! Our school embraced this vibrant festival by inviting both children and adults to join in the fun.

Dressed in white clothes, everyone eagerly lined up to race around the field, getting splashed with bright powders . The air was filled with vibrant colours of pink, blue, yellow, and green, creating a stunning rainbow effect. Laughter and excitement filled the air as children encouraged each other, while adults joined in the fun too.

The colour run wasn’t just about running—it was about coming together as a community to celebrate and share a moment of pure joy. It was a truly unforgettable experience for everyone!

  • Year 4 -Kearsney Abbey Gardens Trip

Class 4 made the most of the amazing sunshine on Thursday with a fantastic visit to Kearsney Abbey Gardens. The warm weather gave us the perfect opportunity to explore the beautiful surroundings and enjoy learning outdoors. We began our day by discovering the wide variety of trees throughout the gardens, looking closely at their different shapes, leaves, and bark. It was fascinating to notice how many different types there were and how each one contributes to the peaceful atmosphere of the park.

Next, we headed down to the river, where we observed the animal life living in and around the water. We spotted ducks, fish, insects, and other creatures, learning about their habitats and how they survive in the flowing river. We also enjoyed some exciting duck racing! This fun and competitive activity helped us understand how the river flows and gave us the chance to make predictions, test out ideas, and cheer on our ducks as they raced along the stream.

After a busy morning, we spent the afternoon exploring the park, climbing, running, and playing together. The open space, sunshine, and fresh air gave everyone a boost, and it was lovely to see the class enjoying themselves so much.
